About Us

Our Vision

KINOE's mission is to educate some of the poorest children in India and Nepal, to enable them to develop the skills they need to get a job or go on to higher education.

We believe that money spent on education is more effective at lifting people out of poverty than any other form of aid. We've helped over 7,000 underprivileged children to benefit from a good education. The impact on their lives and the lives of people in their communities has been dramatic.

KINOE (UK reg: 1058290) was set up in 1996. Since then it has raised over a £1m from grant applications, individual and corporate donations, and fundraising activities. 

KINOE has three trustees and two part-time staff, and very low overheads. This means that nearly all the money raised goes directly to those who need it most.
